Dispute Resolution Options
As a parent, you have several options available if the district does not follow The IDEA or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. An advocate can discuss these with you and assist in whatever path(s) you choose:
- Write and file State Complaints on your behalf.
- Attend and provide support in mediation.
- Refer you to an attorney if necessary for Mediation or a Due Process hearing.
